Farmer Outreach
The AUFPC has a total of 338 farmers, of which 181 are women. These farmers are benefitting from AUFPC'S support through training, subsidies, and market access with support of Harvesting Farmer Network (HFN).
Supply of Agricultural Inputs
Farmers can purchase seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides at competitive rates from the company, reducing their cost of production and increasing profitability. These supplies are sourced in collaboration with Harvesting Farmer Network (HFN), which ensures product quality and availability
Selling Loose Pulses and Vegetables
The FPO also buys and sells loose pulses and vegetables from local farmers. By acting as an intermediary, AUFPC ensures that smallholder farmers can access broader markets for their products, improving their income levels.
Women's Empowerment
With 53.5% of its membership consisting of women farmers, Aam Utpadak FPC has made a significant impact on women's economic independence and leadership in agricultural activities.
Improved Local Supply Chains
The company has streamlined the process of sourcing, storing, and distributing essential agricultural products, reducing the dependency of local farmers on middlemen and enhancing their profit margins.
Government Support
Aam Utpadak FPC benefits from a 214 Lakh government grant that is used to strengthen the company's operational capacity and increase its reach within the community.
